biggest surprise in 2012, part 2

in 2012, there are lots of changes among traditional fashion houses. Raf Simons moves to Christian Dior, Jil Sander takes over Jil Sander again, Hedi Slimane moves to Yves Saint Laurent and changes the name as Saint Laurent Paris. Nicolas Ghesquière moves out from Balenciaga, and Alexander Wang appointed as the creative directive officially.
there are some many changes this year. we can see it that the fashion world is becoming younger and younger. the new influence hits the old. new incredible takes over the fashion world now such as Raf Simons, Hedi Slimane, Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurung etc. it is nice to see so many young designers become the leader in fashion world. and i am still looking forward to 2013. hope you all have a happy new year!

2012，對於傳統的fashion house 來說經歷了一個很大的轉變。Raf Simons 接手了Christian Dior; Jil Sander 女士再次重新掌舵自己的品牌; Hedi Slimane 成為Yves Saint Laurent 新一任的創意總監亦改名為Saint Laurent Paris。Nicolas Ghesquière 竟然離開擔任多年的Balenciaga 創意總監，而換上了Alexander Wang 這個後起之秀......
這年真的有很大的轉變，我們能看到時裝這一行變得越是年輕，年輕一代的衝擊越來越大，他們甚至操控了這一行例如Raf Simons, Hedi Slimane, Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurung，多不勝數。說真的，一向是閉門遊戲的時裝業界多了這一班年輕的設計師真的很難得; 而我亦依然期盼往後的日子，也祝大家新年快樂!

One drop of perfume -Episode 2

隨著年紀增長,對香水的選擇上也會因不同的需要改變。好像在需要安全感的時侯,總會想灑上一縷強烈、清晰的香氣;但又覺得用上輕柔的香氣在傭懶的假日比較適合。所以我總會有數支不同感覺的香水去配合當天的需要。

Balenciaga - L’Essence

雖然跟同名牌的Paris 嗅來有點相似, 但比起Paris的嫵媚細緻,我更喜歡L'Essence更帶點原始的草原香息。明顯青草氣味,配合簽名式的紫羅蘭葉香味,加上隱約的皮革味混合成一種粗中帶幼的中性香味。這香水灑在身上雖氣味明顯,但絕對是恰到好處,不會過濃。

Narciso Rodriguez - for him 

Narciso Rodriguez的香水喜以麝香為主調,而for him 就另外配上了木質香、琥珀氣味而及紫蘿蘭葉的花香 。嗅來香氣濃厚略帶成熟,麝香的味道突出配合微微辛辣的草青香味依然和諧。我認為這香水比較適合在秋冬使用,麝香的氣味令人覺得溫暖,而且這香水味道跟大褸造型特別相襯。但因香氣強烈,使用時要注意份量。
